Autism Sharing and ParentingOn August 15th Parent to Child and Circle of Friends Social Skills Program attended the Autism Sharing and Parenting Resource Fair at the Center for Autism. In addition to networking and getting the word out about our creative arts approach to social learning, we hosted an art room for the children who attended.
The kids created art with Emily and Jaime; made music with Lexi; and made connections with each other. Parents experienced a moment of rest while their kids engaged in the creative process that enabled them to attend the educational event of the day, review the resources and have a moment to talk to all in attendance. We were all thrilled to get to know the kids and parents in this way and to support such a great organization.
